This time of year is extraordinarily busy for everyone and the Kolb household is no exception.
Jason has been busy. Crazy busy with work and equally busy being a really good dad...
Grace has been busy too. Busy enjoying the Spring soccer season from the sidelines as a spectator which she very much enjoys and is Ella and Lily's greatest cheerleader...
She's been busy collecting accolades, including the very prestigious Presidential Education Award, at her 5th Grade Awards ceremony...
She's been busy as sound supervisor for the John Harris Elementary Talent Show...
And she's been really busy celebrating her last days as a 5th Grader at John Harris. First at the 5th Grade party...
And finally at the Year End Party...
Unfortunately, she was also busy being sick on her last day of school but after a run home for a midday nap, she was able to return to school and close out her last day as a John Harris Hurricane...
Ella's been busy too. Mostly she's been busy tearing up the local soccer fields...
But she was also able to squeeze in a few minutes for her first theatrical debut as "Piggy" in her classroom's Reader's Theater...
And, of course she managed to find time to party with her fellow classmates in wishing 2nd Grade a fond farewell...
And then there is good old Lily. Well Lily, I dare say, has been most busy of us all. She has spent a fair amount on the soccer fields. Some of her time has been spent playing...
But she has also spent her field time: celebrating...
Practicing her cartwheels while at Ella's field...
And perfecting her really, really long kick off kick...
And perfecting her really, really long kick off kick...
When she hasn't been on the soccer fields, Lily has been participating in a couple of year end field trips with her preschool class...
And going to the park with her mama...
Lily has also been busy learning a couple of new and very exciting skills~monkey bars...
And riding her bike sans training wheels...
Lily has also been busy turning five...
And the final major event that Lily has been busy with is her Rustic Hills Preschool Graduation. It was a fabulous event filled with all the pomp and circumstance associated with graduation...
And as for me. Well, I've been busy too~busy alternating feeling incredibly proud of my wonderful daughters and a little bit sad at all of the growing up they have decided to do...
I have been blessed.
